Hi dear Reader!
I hope this finds you well!
Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate it!
This year was pretty low key for us. I wasn't on call and didn't have any sick horses to take care of. In the past, it seemed that the emergency calls would come in as we were heading to church. But we actually made it this year. The girls sat through the whole church service without any tears. We did go through seven packs of fruit snacks and half of a coloring book. There was a tense moment when Little Bock 2 dropped her toy and it rolled to the pew behind us. She tried to crawl under our pew but didn't make it. Luckily, someone saved the toy and gave it to her so no crying ensued.
Afterwards, we ate apple pie. Not homemade. It was frozen in a box. That is one skill I have yet to learn.
What did you do today? Do you have a pie recipe that is easy for a beginner?
Then, we rode our horses. The girls are just as horse crazy as I am and it is fun to watch them interact with my horse. Here is a cute video of Little Bock 1 running to meet Amber.
I have been writing and reading in my spare time. The next story is getting closer to being finished every day.
If you haven't checked it out yet, here is a sweet romance giveaway going until the end of the month. Check out any new authors!
That's all for today and I'll talk to you next week!
Hugs,
Allie
