I do need your opinion. I have a tendency to wrap up my stories too fast. Do you think that Kaleb and Erin need more happy-ever-after time? If so what would you like to read about?

Epilogue – Erin

Six Months later

Connie stuck her head into the surgery room. “Hey boss, it’s almost lunch time.” She gave me a smile.

“Almost done.” I concentrated on closing the incision for the dog spay. “There done.” I placed my surgical instruments in the sterile tray.

Louisa turned off the anesthesia machine and recorded the dog’s vital signs on her clipboard. “Do you have plans for lunch?” Her dark hair fell forward over her shoulders as she wrote on the paper.

I pulled off my surgical gloves and tossed them in the trash can. “Kaleb mentioned picking me up for lunch. I think that we are doing Susie’s.”
