Dear Reader,
How are you doing? Have you been having a good beginning of the summer?
The month of June has been crazy at work which is why I have been more sporadic than normal with sending out newsletters. Usually my weeks are pretty routine, but this month it seems like I have been running from one emergency call to another. In a normal month, I only see one or two emergencies all month. Not June. I think I am up to almost one emergency every day. Some of them have had good outcomes. Others not so much. I guess it comes with the territory, but it isn't a fun part of the job. It feels as if the universe itself is off-kilter. One Friday did land on the 13th, so maybe that is it?
Other than that, we have embraced summer in the Bock household. Hubby bought the kids a kiddie pool and they have been splashing in it every chance they get. They are always barefoot and covered in dirt.
I have a lot to share with you today.
First, it has been five years since I first published My Cowboy Crush and Falling for my Cowboy. I wrote them while I was in Texas working as a veterinarian on the ranch. I had a lot of time to myself as at first Hubby lived hours away and then he got a managerial position in town that he had to work nights and weekends.
To celebrate, I am offering a 50% off all my e-books on my store front. The code you need to use is 5YR50. It is good until June 30th at 11:59 PM CST.
Thank you in advance. Every purchase from my store helps me and my family.
Now on to the some new reads for you to try out!

Nate sets up a few “mock dates” to help her reconnect with real romance. But when fake dates start feeling suspiciously enjoyable—and one match seems to turn into a walking true crime episode—Diana will have to figure out who to trust, who to report, and whether emotional intimacy is scarier than abduction. T
his laugh-out-loud romcom is the first standalone novella in The Matchmaker Files—a series of interconnected romances set inside a modern matchmaking agency. You’ll love it if you like: grumpy-meets-sunshine vibes, forced proximity with professional boundaries, slow-burn tension—where the chemistry sizzles, but the clothes stay on, and a guaranteed happily ever after (no cliffhangers, just closure).
